Ruadh is a very placid and calm male almost all of the time. He has a very level-head and doesn’t let superficial things make him angry. This wolf is social, but in his own way. He enjoys making new friends, and then watching over them like a silent sentry. He is loyal, protective, and friendly, though he keeps his distance as to not be suffocating and needy. Ruadh is a wolf that most can depend on when the need should arise. He is very passionate and wishes to make all of his dreams come to fruition. Overall, he’s your typical gentlemanly charmer. Being that he is more of a gentle giant, Ruadh commonly gets put on the back burner and left there to simmer. He is more of a shy creature, yet the bonds he makes are virtually impenetrable. It is often that he fades into the background until he is really needed or actually sought out by others. The only thing that gets Ruadh in a snarling mood is messing with those that he cares for. It seems as if a different, more beastly nature is pulled out of nowhere. The flames on his body seem to glow a little bit brighter, and not to mention those pearly whites of his coming on to display. Ruadh can hold a grudge for a long, long time until it eats him up inside. In a subtle way, he likes revenge, debts will not go unpaid. However, for the overwhelming majority of his character, Ruadh will step up to the plate only when his name is called, but until then he is happy to wait in line for his share. h i s t o r y . Ruadh and his sister Valium were born into a relatively large pack, numbering around twenty wolves. Though the male’s parents weren’t the highest ranking wolves, their memberships were still valid and they were allowed to breed anyways. From the moment that they found out that they were expecting children, the pair was overjoyed. They cherished their offspring before they’d even set eyes upon them. Ruadh and Valium were treated like gold by most everyone around them. The system that this particular pack had was that everyone looks out for everyone else. Though life was very sweet for the large majority, changes sometimes come to even the most luxurious utopia. It happened around the time when Ruadh was almost a full grown adult, but not quite. Another young male (the alpha’s son and heir to be exact) was causing trouble amongst the adolescents. He was pushy, arrogant, and a liar. The heir and Ruadh were vying for one particular female’s attention, and the winning suitor would become her mate. So what the other male did was take the life of an elder, and blame it on Ruadh, who had no connection with the murder whatsoever. Of course the alpha was going to take his son’s side. Ruadh was convicted as a murderer, though there was no proof. Those who committed crimes against the pack were marked with a large ‘x’ somewhere on their body, so that everyone knew it. Ruadh accepted his wrongful punishment with grace, though it was always on his brain. He’d lost the first wolf he’d started to admire, and he was marked as a murderer. There was no reason for Ruadh to stay where he was no longer wanted. Most of the wolves treated him like scum, for they didn’t know the truth. Ruadh left one night all alone, but not before placing the elder’s corpse next to the alpha’s son while he was sleeping… f a m i l y .
