Volke is an alternate timeline from our own. It splits from our own timeline on April 26, 1986, the day of the Chernobyl disaster. In Volke, that disaster caused a deadly virus to wipe out the human race in a matter of months. Wildlife was unaffected, and wolves who resided near the radioactive accident began mutating in strange ways. It's now almost thirty years later, and the volke have taken over much of the area surrounding the power plant.
