There was no special occasion as one may think for such a display of raw and unbridled happiness. No, it was just a Tuesday. Sophia was often like this wen she thought no one was looking. Far too often was she expected to sit regal and hold her head high that it was nice to just let go every once and a while. She wasn't even bothering to hold her long tail over her back, instead it streamed out behind her like a red and cream colored banner. Each step the alphess took sent a spray of white and tan sand into the air so that there was a could of dust behind her, marking where she had run, as if the frantic paw prints were not enough to follow her by. Without even realizing it, her path soon took her fast the cliff faces in which most of her pack, including she and her mate, made their dens. It hadn't occurred to her in all of her excitement and playfulness that some lower ranked wolf might see her, and even if she had realized it in that moment, it was unlikely that she would have cared too terribly.
